Expat Insight hosts Ambassador Knut Solem and PNBC president Stein Eriksen

Raju Mandhyan is the host of Expat Insight, a program where they take external views on internal successes and look for the good. The show was aired last week, but can still be watched online.

Check out ambassador Solem talking about similarities between our two countries. The program brought also the opportunity to discuss the potential for oil and gas in the Philippines, where Norway has considerable experience.

-Business opportunities for Norway in the Philippines have long been focusing on the maritime sector. Opportunities in other sectors are now opening up, like the partnership between SN Power and Aboitiz Power. Renewable energy can open up for further investments in the Philippines, says ambassador Solem.

When asked about what can be improved in the Philippines, the ambassador mentioned tourism and said “with such a beautiful country, the sky is the limit”. - The Philippines has a great potential for tourism, although infrastructure and promotion of the country is lacking, the ambassador added.

Ambassador Solem ended the interview by thanking all the Filipinos that sent their condolences after the 22nd of July.
