The Maritime Section are in charge of maritime control or the maritime supervision of seafarer`s joining Norwegian-registered vessels. We do mustering services, in other words we control that the seafarers have the necessary qualifications before they join the vessels.
We accept applications for endorsement on behalf of NMD (Norwegian Maritime Directorate) and issue CRAs (Certificate of Receipt of Application). We authenticate application for Master`s dispensation.
We assist Norwegian seafarers when they apply for renewal of their certificates and issuance of seamen`s book. We accredit and supervise the seaman`s doctors.
We are also establishing and maintaining relations with the maritime industry in Manila in general.
